What do I need on my computer to run DocControl?
You can use any computer or device with an internet connection and a web browser to run DocControl. Web browsers that work best with DocControl are Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 10 or higher, or Apple Safari 4 or higher.

Do I have to sign a fixed term contract?
No, DocControl is a pay-per-month service and your credit card will be billed each month. There are no long term contracts and you can cancel at any time. If you cancel the service, you will never be billed again.
Are there per-user fees or cancellation fees?
No. The plan you choose has a maximum number of users for a fixed fee per month. You do not have to pay per individual user, and DocControl does not have any other fees or charges.
With paid plans, when will I be billed?
You will be billed monthly starting on the day you purchase a subscription. You can cancel your subscription at any time within the app and you will not be billed again.
Is the 30 day try me feature really free?
Yes, totally free – no catches. We even give you free support. Just cancel at any time in the first month, and you will not be billed.
Is my data safe and backed up?
Absolutely. Our storage infrastructure is highly durable and fault tolerant, and our databases are backed up daily and securely transferred and stored to multiple off-site locations.
Can I get my Documents back out later?
Yes, all accounts have a full data export facility built in.
How do I upgrade to a paid plan?
You can easily upgrade to a paid plan within the app itself after signing up, under the admin menu.
